A Helping Hand: NDIS Wellbeing Support

Since childhood, Sarah has been known and admired for her intelligence and cheerfulness. However, challenges accompanied her to school and other social activities as she grew up. It also made her feel anxious, overwhelmed, and occasionally, a tad unhappy.

Sarah’s parents were worried and wanted to provide support for her. They agreed to consider the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which helps people with disabilities in Australia. Sarah was able to get her wellbeing support services, such as telehealth coaching, from an NDIS life coach.

Her dedicated NDIS life coach is a friendly, patient woman named Emily who assists her in learning how to control her anxiety. Emily delivered her coaching sessions from the convenience of Sarah’s home through telehealth. They both did breathing exercises such as deep breathing and some exercises that helped them to clear the mind. Emily also asked her friend Sarah to join specific social circles and engage in activities that the latter appreciated.

Thanks to Emily’s help, the girl started improving, and over time, she became rather cheerful. She thus discovered how to approach emotional states, and she also built up her self-esteem. Sarah’s parents appreciated how NDIS Wellbeing Support has affected her life positively, particularly through the telehealth coaching.
